1968 Norton Commando Fastback 750

1968 Norton Commando Fastback 750. Bike has been sitting in storage for years and was redone some years back. Comes with the original tank and badges as shown which is off the bike and the replacement tank on it with new badges to be installed. Some info received on the bike includes: The gas tank, tail-piece and emblems are original. Brand new exact Amal carbs when the bike was redone. Updated to new style 850 type transmission - gears, seals, and shafts. Closer ratio bronze improved 850 clutch plates. Wheels are original with galvanized spokes. Rear brake converted to new style cushion drive but done to look exactly the same with the 3 rubber plugs. 1970-71 Frame with second tube for backbone to steering head. The originals had breaking problems and this is much stronger. The frame serial number has been stamped to match the engine with the original font type. The stainless plate holder is not original. The engine was completely rebuilt with new pistons, rings, 850 type main bearings - super blends. Barrel shaped roller bearings are much better than the original. Cambell mufflers and new header pipes made exactly as original. New Hagon rear shocks. Original 1968 only primary cover. Original Euro type bars. Speedo and tach are original and redone. Original side cover, air box, and key switch. Original left handlebar switch. I have a Massachusetts Title in my name.
