Outdoor Wooden Christmas Ball Lawn Ornaments

Yes… it’s getting close to that time to start thinking about winter and Christmas! And part of that planning includes how to festively decorate your front yard. So why not consider getting 1…2…3…or more of these homemade Christmas Tree Ball Ornaments? Let me tell you how they are made. First, the wood is an Exposure 1 rated plywood. The post is pressure treated pine. Each piece was hand cut and sanded to a smooth finish then primed with 2 coats of Behr Premium Ultra White Exterior primer/sealer. After priming, I used 3 coats of colored exterior paint for each ornaments unique appearance. And finally, 3 coats of Behr Premium Outdoor Spar Urethane sealer that protects against sunlight, rain, moisture, and temperature changes were applied to protect the wood from the winter weather (with light sanding done between each coat). So if you take care of them, they should last for years. The ornaments stand about 22 inches tall (approximately 30.5 inches with the stake) and are about 16.5 inches wide. I have five different ball ornaments to choose from: Green with red center Red with green center Blue with red center Red with blue center Green with blue center They also vary by which way they lean.
